‘ We respect your right to privacy’
The Privacy Act has been altered with effect from the 21st December 2001. The National Privacy Principles aim to ensure that organisations that hold information about people, handle that information responsibly and that they also give people some control over the way information about them is handled.
Peninsula Honda (Strabane Pty Ltd) has instituted the following policy guidelines to ensure that, to the best of our ability, any information supplied to us is handled, stored and only disclosed in accordance with the Act.
• All information received from a Peninsula Honda Customer will be treated with the strictest confidence and will not be relayed to a third party without the express written approval of the Customer concerned.
• The Privacy Act does not allow the use of personal information supplied by Customers to be used for any other purpose than that for which it is provided.
• All information collected will be done so with the full understanding of the Customer and will be accurate and kept secure at all times.
• Peninsula Honda uses a secure Computer System that requires access by designated Password & Identification. Hard Copy Files are stored in filing cabinets with no public access. Complete details regarding Information Storage may be obtained from the Company Privacy Officer.
• Any queries, complaints or requests for access to your personal information that you have should be addressed to the designated Company Privacy Officer or, if unavailable, a Company Director
